And the winner is... EAGLE
It was a gripping and more than close decision, but at the end of the day there can be only one winner: The champion and the runners-up of the 1st GIT safety award have been chosen! The winner in the "Security" category was Hirschmann with EAGLE.
Readers of two trade journals, “MESSTEC & Automation” and “GIT Sicherheit + Management” cast their votes, and after counting the submitted ballot, we are pleased to be able to present the worthy winners:
The champion in the „Safety“ category was:
Schneider Electric with its safety light curtain!
Right up to the end it was a neck-and-neck race that the safety light curtain ultimately won. The 2nd and 3rd runners-up were:
2nd: K.A. Schmersal GmbH – with its safety tumblers AZM 200 and 400
3rd: Phoenix Contact – with its Interbus safety system
The winner in the „Security“ category was:

In this category too the decision was just as gripping as in the safety category. The 2nd and 3rd places were won by:

3rd: Siemens AG A&D – with its Scalance S
