Profibus fiber-optic repeater NEPSI-approved
The in process automation widely used Profibus fiber-optic repeaters OZD Profi 12M have received the approval for use in hazardous locations from the “National Supervision and Inspection Center for Explosion Protection and Safety of Instrumentation” (NEPSI) in China.
As Profibus is a automation standard in China, petrochemical and pharmazeutical installations take advantage of the NEPSI approval especially in this area.
For american or european installations the products are approved according to ATEX zone 2 and FM Class 1, Div. 2 respectively.
