Hirschmann’s new compact Profibus repeaters deliver reliable fiber optic transmission over short distances up to 100m. The clever plug & play devices, which are an enhancement to the familiar OZD Profi family, are designed for short-distance data transmission. They are plugged directly into a Profibus device just like an electrical cable and they do not even require a power supply. This efficient solution gives users all of the benefits of fiber optic technology.
