Strengthening the market position in Italy
The Italian market is of great importance for the growth of Hirschmann Automation and Control. To strengthen its competitive and market position a new sales office has been opened in Agrate Brianza near Milan.
Italy is an important market for Hirschmann Automation and Control. In 2005 the company was able to achieve a turnover of about three million Euros here, and for the next three years it is reckoning on further growth in the order of 20% to 30%.
The opening of the new sales office took place on the 10th May. This occasion was celebrated, as one might expect, with many of the company's clients and business partners. By opening this office the company is anticipating a further strengthening of its competitive position as well as acquiring additional market share.
From of May there are three personnel based in Agrate Brianza and these will look after distributors, key accounts, system integrators and OEM clients whilst offering comprehensive sales and technical support. Furthermore, the cooperation with a greater number of local partners will enable the company to serve regional markets as well as various branches of industry with greater focus.
