Hirschmann as environmentally oriented company, confirmed with DIN EN ISO 14001, intends to live up to our responsibility to protect the environment by complying with the law governing the sale, return and disposal of electronic and electrical goods ( Electro G) passed on 23 March 2005.
The Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH application for return and disposal of the above law was rejected by EAR” (Elektro-Altgeräte Register). This means that we are under no obligation to accept our Industrial Ethernet products from our customers for disposal.
Despite the above for Hirschmann Industrial Ethernet products, which are labeled with the symbol of the crossed-out refuse bin, we still wish to offer our customers the option of sending these products to our plant in Neckartenzlingen at their own cost once they have reached their end of life. We will then dispose of the appliance free of charge.
